Supergirl question

I've seen some positive reviews of the latest Supergirl comic, and I'd like to ask you guys who've read it--would you say that Supergirl is now actually kid-friendly?

The twelve-year-old has expressed some interest in the title (based on I'm not sure what), and while I let her read just about anything in mainstream comics, what I saw of the previous Supergirl had me take it off the get list and fast. So before I add it on, I want to be sure.

This issue was an incomprehensible Amazon Attacks crossover issue, but there wasn't anything objectionable other than the lack of an actual story. The art is far better; Supergirl and Wonder Girl both look like actual humans. There is an upskirt shot but it only reveal sensible bike shorts. There was an explicit moral stated too, but it was a rather muddled with confusion over whether Supergirl had switched sides or had her actions misconstrued.

I can't recommend this issue for anybody though and next issue, a Countdown tie-in, isn't likely to be any more comprehensible. I have high hopes for the issue after that, though.

I luffed the issue. XD

It was prolly the best of the AA issues. The event still sucks, but at least this issue wasn't bad :)

If they continue this trend, I'd say it would be kid friendly :)

I bought this issue for my 6 year old, supergirl loving daughter this weekend. she was hopping all over the store. She bought a few brave and the bold issues before, though I was really unhappy about it. Love the new supergirl. Mostly because she is a GIRL.
